If you want to build a ship, don't herd people together to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.

I will draw you a diagram of the infinite when you tell me its secrets.
He's the guy that wrote "The Little Prince" - Joey has it. This is the first time I've been able to use the internet in a while so I'm going to try and respond to what I can.
ReplyDeleteThe sad part is everyone longs to have purpose rather than the endless immensity of the sea. We long to be given purpose, tasks and clear pictures of what God desires from us. But all God asks is that we desire Him, and our purpose will then be given via the desire to love and loving. (desire followed by action) Aimlessness, or the illusion of aimlessness (which is in actuality- disobedience) is a foothold Satan relies on to inject cultural apathy. It's a poison and we are all infected. God is our only cure.
