seeing sin

Sin is nothing else but the failure to recognize human wretchedness.

the rich believe they are something.
the poor believe that the rich are something.
we are in fact, nothing.
this is the beginning of redemption.

purity is the power to contemplate defilement.

If we only knew how wretched we were, we would truly desire and pay attention to love, purity, and grace.
