Who forces you to judge? And then-just inquire of yourselves whether you could be just even if you wanted to! As judges you must stand higher than the one to be judged; while you have only come later. The guests who are the last to arrive at table justifiably should receive the last places: and you want to have the first? Well then, at least to the highest and greatest; perhaps one will really make room for you then, even if you arrive last.
